Bath Oil recipes are really, simply, your choice of carrier oil plus a couple drops of essential oil.

They create that perfect combination of soothing your skin with the therapeutic effects of the carrier oil and soothing (or other wise healing) your mind with the effects of the essential oil.

You need very, very little oil for the perfect bath. A couple of drops and you are good.

Certain oils evaporate more quickly than others, and this can make a difference in what you choose for a bath. However, as most baths do not last more than 2 hours, this isn’t the most important consideration.

Certain oils can cause skin sensitivity, so with those oils, you should be extra careful to use very, very little.
Adding the right combination of carrier oil and essential oils to the water of your bath can make a simple experience suddenly much more sophisticated and exquisite.

Certain carrier oils are more suited to the bath, such as:

Sweet Almond Oil

Jojoba Oil

Sesame Oil

and, since a bath is usually an emotionally therapeutic time, there are oils to enhance whatever state of mind you might be seeking.
Baths that will be covered in this section are:

The serene bath

The invigorating bath

The aphrodisiac bath

The calming bath

And, to let you know how very real this site is, I will be finishing this later, after putting my 4 little boys to bed : )

Sadly, no bath for me tonight : )
