I have been having a love affair with this scent since I found out how rare and exquisite it is. The vanilla bean comes from the center of an orchid, and needs to be delicately harvested. Vanilla is native to Mexico, but is now grown in the islands of the Indian Ocean, primarily Madagascar.

The scent is warm, inviting, and, yes, an aphrodisiac. It blends well with vetiver, which could make a really complex scent.
